Jessica and Charlie Gold Design

This is a project I was asked to do a couple weeks ago. I absolutely love the way it turned out! It's so modern and classy looking. The picture below shows the light hitting the metallic gold paint. So pretty!

As you can see, the couple is getting married in November but they wanted the project finished early enough to give as a shower gift.

Here's a picture of Jessica holding her canvas! Too cute!

Scarlet & Gold Collaboration

I wanted to share some recent projects I worked on with Scarlet & Gold! These are all available in their online shop for $6.00 ea. First up are some new greeting cards.

Click on the images below to be take to the product description page on the Scarlet & Gold website to purchase.

This "Hustle Darling" design was originally printed as an art print and is now available as a greeting card. So fun! I love all of the gold foil!

This "Wink Wink" greeting card is also in gold foil and is more simplistic in design.

They also recently launched cute little gold foil temporary tattoos! These designs were so much fun to work on. These are available in their shop for $2.50 each.

These gold metallic temporary tattoos are made from a very thin high-quality metallic foil. Find this Bama one here!

The metallic foil transfers easily to your skin with just water and lasts for a week! This Auburn one is available here.

They were all so much fun to work on! This tigers one is available here.

Lastly, they released some super cute new apparel. The tiger design above was also printed onto a shirt available here for $30.

The design I've done that I just showed you are just a drop in the bucket compared to all the beautiful products Scarlet & Gold sell in their shop. If you haven't taken the time to go browse around, please do so now! You won't be disappointed. :)

Manuel and Aubrey Chalk Design

This is a project I recently finished for a dear friend of mine. We were college roommates and even lived together when we first moved to Dallas after college! She is as creative as she is sweet. If you are looking for a photographer, check out her site, The Three Photography. She's so talented!

For this project, I used a white chalk pen on a 16x20 black canvas.

I always sketch my designs out in my sketchbook until I get the look that I want, then sketch it out on the canvas with chalk. After that I gently wipe away the chalk until there is just a faint sketch left. This gives the canvas a "ghosting" effect that chalkboards have and provides me with a guide to work from. After that I go over the whole thing with my chalk pen and wipe away the rest of the chalk sketch once the whole thing is dry!

I was thrilled so see this beautiful picture she posted on instagram after her shower. Isn't she stunning?!

I also LOVED what they did with it for the wedding. Her sister is also insanely creative. I'm pretty sure she made these crepe paper flowers and the banners that are framing the canvas. I love it!

Hallie Kate Chalk Design

One of my sweetest friends recently had a precious baby girl! I couldn't wait to make something to give to her! Isn't her name so cute? I love it. I waited until the day I heard she was born to write her birthday, just in case she came a little early or late.

For this project, I used a 16x20 black canvas with white, pink, and green chalk pens. I think it turned out so cute! The hardest part was picking out what verse I wanted to write at the top. I think I sketched out about 15 different versions. Haha.

I hope she little Hallie Kate enjoys it!

Richer Than I

This is a project I designed for a sweet little nursery. Two girls were going to have this printed on a canvas to give as a shower gift. I thought it was such a sweet idea! I hope to see the final result after it's been printed out!

This is a gift I made for my sweet grandmother. She mentioned loving this verse and I thought it would nice for her to have it framed to hang in their home. I hope she likes it!

Notice the great picture I got of this project... I may have finished this late at night. :) We bought the frame at Michaels and Daniel bought a mat cutter at Hobby Lobby. He did such a great job with the bevel and clean corners. You can find the mat cutter we used here.
